more chairs.

I was chatting with some friends yesterday and found myself professing my love for the Acapulco chair.  I realized, that my chair obsession hasn't been talked about here in detail recently, but I assure you, it is still around.  Eeeekkkk, don't tell my husband. :)  Whether it be designed by Eames, Panton, or Starck, I'm ALL about the stylish chair.  I mean, my husband and I live in 600 square feet so I am trying to curb my appetite for more furniture, but with so many great options, it is SO hard.  Such tough problems.  ha!  Happy Friday friends!

beachy hair please.

I've been all sorts of obsessed with wavy "look at me, I just got out of the ocean" hair lately.  I wish I could say that my mane was easily manipulated into this gorgeous messy look, but the truth is, it takes some serious work.  But I'm willing to do it.  I love this intentionally undone look.

hats hats hats.

Are you more of a fedora or floppy hat wearing person?  I can't decide for myself.  I love both.  Depending on my mood (and how my hair is acting that day), I like to change it up a bit.  I purchased this fedora and am kind of obsessed.  I think it's a great transition accessory as we head into fall.

let's lounge.

As I mentioned on Friday, the long holiday weekend was filled with wedding fun.  I assisted a friend at a wedding on Friday and Saturday (at the bride's family farm) and then attended a wedding with my hubs in Napa on Sunday.  It was so much fun and a great way to cap off the summer.  But don't be fooled, although it's September, the temperatures around here are finally starting to heat up.  A few more weeks of lounging poolside, are definitely a must!

holiday weekend.

Happy happy happy holiday weekend!  How are you spending yours?  Mine will be filled with wedding fun.  I will be helping with a wedding, then attending one as a guest the next day.  Eeeek, can hardly wait.  Hope you enjoy your three-day holiday.

mirror.

I love how even a small wall mirror can make a big impact on a room.  Whether it be round, square, or a little artsy, I love them all.  Here are a few of my faves.

tote.

Sometimes you just need a big ol' tote bag to jam all of your stuff into as you head out the door.  These beauties all fit the bill for me.  I swear, when you live in a city and you're riding public transportation, your bag becomes a suitcase.  I'm always in need of an extra pair of flats, or a layering piece for the ever changing weather, etc.  So any of these would be a perfect addition to my growing purse collection.

wine tasting.

I'm finally getting around to sharing some pics from the wine tasting tour that I mentioned here.  We had such a wonderful time and I can't say enough great things about the last stop at Ram's Gate.  None of us had ever been to the property before, and I must say it was amazing.  As you walk in, it's a giant indoor-outdoor wine tasting area.  Hard to even describe in words, but just think open space, old barn wood, and modern touches throughout.  My jaw was pretty much on the floor the entire time.  Our friend had also arranged for a picnic before we arrived.  So once we got there, each couple was handed a picnic basket complete with a blanket, tons of yummy food, and a bottle of wine.  Yep, we will definitely be coming back here soon.

words for thursday.

I don't know about you guys, but sometimes simple words can have a huge impact on my mood.  Here are some things that brightened up my day, and I hope they do the same for you.
